A new business opened this past weekend, in Connell, bringing new excitement to the community. Viva La Glam will offer a variety of services from facials to makeup. Their mission is “Everyone can have great skin. I will help people as a service to the community.”
Owner, Martha Holt, shared, “I first decided to be an esthetician when I had great customer service while traveling with my family.” She went on to share, “I was inspired by a friend in Mexico that hired me to help him in his salon. He knew I could use the money while going to college, but that experience working with him was priceless.” Seeing the impact it could have on people’s lives inspired her to pursue her own salon. She added, “I am all about community service. That’s what my mom taught me and I would like to do it well.”
On Saturday afternoon, December 10, Holt cut the ribbon and welcomed the community to her new “little cozy spot” for the first time. She will be open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Gift cards and certificates are available for those last minute Christmas gifts.
Her December services are: facials (varying times available), eyebrow and lash work, makeup, and waxing/hair removal. She also offeres a variety of skincare products for your personal use.
Holt recently graduated from Paul Mitchell in Kennewick with her esthetician license, including honors on skin and makeup. She is excited for what these services can do to help people. She is especially excited to help older people with their skin.
Viva La Glam is located at 346 S Columbia Ave, Suite B. You can also find them at VivalaGlam53 on Instagram. A website is in the works.
Holt added, “Please, take the time to come and check out my cozy spot where I will be doing my services. Everyone is welcome.”
