Rollover crash backs up traffic, injures one near Connell

Franklin County Fire District 1 was called to a single vehicle rollover crash just outside of Connell (at mile post 57 on Hwy 395) around 9:30 am. Wed., May 3 Connell Police assisted in blocking traffic at the North entrance to town and Hospital District 1 was also on scene with Washington State Troopers.
LifeFlight took injured Jose Alcala Mendez (22) of Connell from the scene around 10:30 am
Washington state troopers stated his vehicle landed in the northbound road area after crossing the median from the southbound lanes.
FCFD1 continued to mop up the accident.
The back up of traffic was starting to move ahead slowly by 10:40 am.
There is no word on Alcala Mendez's condition.
